Anyone can print a guarantee. What matters is who stands behind it and whether the installation was done to the right standard in the first place.

Each of these can be checked independently. Certificates and insurance details are issued with your quotation rather than kept back until after you commit.
CHAS Elite accredited
Independently assessed for health, safety and compliance standards.
Triton Approved Installer
Approved to install Triton damp proofing and waterproofing systems.
30 year guarantees
Issued in the property owner's name on completion, transferable when you sell.
Work to British Standards
BS 6576 for damp proof courses, BS 8102 for below ground waterproofing and BS 1243 for wall ties.

What each one actually means
Accreditation names tell you very little on their own, so here is what each of ours involves and why it matters to a homeowner or a landlord.
CHAS Elite accredited
CHAS assesses contractors on health and safety, insurance, training and compliance. Elite is its higher tier, which also covers areas such as environmental and quality management. It is the accreditation local authorities, agents and commercial clients most often ask us for.
Triton Approved Installer
Triton manufactures damp proofing and waterproofing systems. Approved Installer status means we are trained and audited to install their systems as specified, which is also what allows the manufacturer backed guarantee to be issued on completion.

Where a British Standard covers the work, we follow it. That is what allows a surveyor, lender or solicitor to accept the work without argument.

Your guarantee
What the 30 year guarantee covers
Issued on completion once the work is signed off and paid. It is registered in the property owner's name and can be passed to a buyer. Full terms are supplied with the certificate by MP Preservation & Building Ltd.
- The installed damp proofing or waterproofing system, for 30 years from completion.
- Registered in the property owner's name, so there is no dispute over who holds it.
- Transferable to the next owner when the property is sold.
- Documented scope of works, so what is covered is not open to interpretation.
